On 14 December, 2014 LAABH Foundation organized an open free medical camp at Rajhe Shivaji High School, Vittalwadi. The camp provided free consultation from senior doctors from Holy Cross Hospital, Kalyan West. Around 250 patients availed of the medical camp services. The nurses from Holy Cross also conducted a special health awareness session for the girl students who were present.
LAABH focuses on HEALTH as human concerns is one of its core objectives. A healthy life is the fundamental right of all children, youth, adults and elderly. The shanties of Kalyan and Vittalwadi are in dire need of health awareness and consultation. Women and children need a lot of medical attention since malnutrition is rampant due to poverty. LAABH conducts free medical camps at regular intervals to bring quality health facilities to needy families in Vittalwadi.
